Here’s my top story:

11:15am           Mission/Ocean                 Att. Assault
Officer Chang and Officer Park responded to the report of a battery on a
MUNI driver. They learned that a woman had gotten on a bus and spit at the
driver because of an altercation they had a week earlier. The woman was
issued a citation. Report number 100371511

11:30 pm          Crocker Amazon Park     Agg. Assault w/Knife
Officer Lundy responded to the emergency room at SFGH regarding a stabbing
incident.  The victim told the officer that a man he often plays soccer
with at Crocker Amazon Park had been acting crazy and stabbed [him] in the leg.

Officer Chang and Officer Park responded to the report of a battery on a
MUNI driver. They learned that a woman had gotten on a bus and spit at the
driver because of an altercation they had a week earlier. The woman was

02:13pm           3100 blk Mission        Robbery/Conspiracy
Officers Johnson-Carr responded to the report of a robbery along with
numerous other Ingleside units. The victim was grabbed from behind while
walking to work and robbed of her cell phone by a man and a woman. The
female suspect was located and identified by witnesses. She was arrested
for robbery and conspiracy. Report number 100372177

Officer Cassinelli and Officer Plantinga responded to the report of a
citizen’s arrest. They met with security guards who had caught a man
shoplifting from their store. The man was issued a citation for the

Officer Martinez and Officer La Rocca were dispatched to the report of a
burglary. They met with an employee of a construction company who said that
their office had been broken into. Missing from the office were

09:42am           Edinburgh/Persia        Theft from Vehicle
PSA Heckenberg prepared a report at Ingleside Station regarding a vehicle
burglary. The victim said that he came out to his parked car to find that
his window had been smashed. A GPS system was missing from inside the car.

PSA Heckenberg prepared a report at Ingleside Station regarding an
attempted theft from a vehicle. The victim said that he came out to his
parked car to find that its window had been smashed, but nothing was

03:49pm           Unit blk Maynard        Evading Officer/Stolen Vehicle
Officer Chan and Officer Morse were on patrol in plain clothes when they
saw a parked vehicle which had been reported stolen. They conducted
surveillance on the vehicle and saw a suspect who they recognized from
previous encounters get into the car. When the officers tried to stop the
car, the suspect drove over the sidewalk and evaded the officers. Report

PSA Guituan prepared a report at Ingleside Station regarding a theft from a
vehicle. The victim said that she returned to her parked vehicle to find
that one of the windows was shattered. The victim’s purse and GPS system

Officer Stansbury and Officer Pereira were dispatched to the report of a
burglary. The victim stated the she lives in a home with several other
people. She said that while she took a shower, someone took several items

Officer Pereira and Officer Stansbury responded to the report of a
burglary. The victim said that he returned to his home to find that someone
had forced open a window and stole several items from inside the house. The
items included some jewelry boxes and a generator. Report number 100373125

Officer Stansbury and Officer Pereira were dispatched to the report of a
robbery. The victim said that he was sitting on a MUNI bus when an African
American male (5’06 130lbs) wearing dark clothing came up and snatched his
PDA out of his hands. The suspect then ran off the bus with two other

Officer Sugitan and Officer Hom responded to Crocker Amazon Park in regards
to a theft. The victim said that she left her laptop bag with some friends
while she went to use the restroom. When she returned, she learned that
another acquaintance had walked off with the bag after meeting with the

Officer Anderson responded to the report of a person attempting to kick in
a door of a residence. The officer met with the suspect who was waiting
impatiently for a friend to come to the door from inside. The suspect had

Officer Ferronato and Officer Guzman were dispatched to the report of a
battery. The two victims said that they were walking down the street when
they were approached by a woman who asked what street they were on. When
the victims answered, the suspect sprayed them with pepper spray and then
fled the scene. The suspect was an African-American woman (5’6 180lbs)
wearing a white sweater and blue jeans. Report number 100373824

Officers Creed and Muro responded to a restaurant where a graffiti vandal
had “tagged” the men’s bathroom.  The officers located the suspect in the
restaurant.  The 16year old white male was placed under arrest, then cited
and released at CARC.  Report number 100374991
05:43 pm          4900 blk Mission        Warrant Arrest
Officers Plantinga, Cassinelli and Hintzen saw a man they knew had a
warrant for his arrest.  They took the suspect into custody for the
warrant.  Report number 080731178
08:09 pm          400 blk Cambridge       Warrant Arrest
Officers Almaguer, Chan and Morse with Sgt Paine located a man who they
knew had outstanding warrants for his arrest. Report number 080700139
10:57 pm          Leese/Park              DUI/Warrant Arrest
Officers Ma and Lundy responded to a possible Hit and Run incident and
found the caller uninjured with no damage to her vehicle.  The suspect
vehicle was located and stopped by the officers.  The driver of the vehicle
appeared intoxicated.  The officers conducted a DUI investigation and the
driver failed the field sobriety tests as well as the intoxilyzer tests.
The suspect was also found to have a suspended driver’s license and a
warrant for his arrest.  Report number 100377133
11:40 pm          4500 blk Mission        Graffiti/Urinating in Public
Officers Guzman and Smith observed a Hispanic male adult in the doorway of
a business.  They saw the suspect writing on a glass door and approached
the suspect.  By the time they reached him, the suspect was urinating in
the doorway with the marker still in his hand.  The officers placed the
suspect under arrest and after running all of the customary computer
queries, cited and release him.  Report number 100377149

Officers Sullivan and Padilla spoke with a vehicle owner who stated that
she parked her vehicle in the morning and returned later to find that
someone had “keyed” the exterior of the vehicle and stolen the radio out of
the dash board.  Report number 100375808
02:57 pm          100 blk Crescent        Robbery w/Force
Officers Park and Chang responded with numerous other Ingleside officers to
a robbery call. The victim, a Spanish speaking woman, told the officers
that he was robbed by two African American males, 20-22 years old.  The
victim had taken money out of the bank then boarded a Muni bus to return to
her home.  She noticed the suspects on the bus and felt that they were
watching her.  She exited the bus and the suspects followed.  The suspects
finally approached her and grabbed her.  One suspect went directly to the
pocket where the victim had placed the money and stole the money and her
ATM card.  The other suspect stood by as a lookout.  The suspects then ran

Officers Naval and Morrow responded to a residence regarding a battery.
The victim stated that he was approached and challenged to fight by an
African American boy he knew from school.  The suspect was with numerous
other African American boys.  The suspect punched and kicked the victim,
and then a second boy punched and kicked him knocking the victim to the
ground.  The rest of the boys then jumped in and kicked the victim many
more times as he lay on the ground.  After the attack the victim returned
to his home and was taken to the hospital by his father.  Report number

Officers Hintzen and Kabanuck responded to the library where a young boy
was injured.  The officers found a nine year old boy bleeding from the
nose.  The suspect, a 14 year old boy, told the officers that his little
brother and the victim were fighting.  The suspect stated that he stepped
in and punched the victim in the nose.  The suspect was cited and released
to his guardian.  Report number 100379311

Driver
Officers Hurwitz and Daggett observed two vehicles racing each other on
Mission.  They stopped both vehicles and found that the driver of one of
the vehicles did not have a license to drive.  The driver of that vehicle
was found to be in possession of cocaine and false identification cards,
including social security cards.  He was booked for the above offenses.

Officer Lundy responded to a call of a man setting off fireworks.  The
officer located the man and cited him for possession of the fireworks which

Officer Morgante responded to a parking garage regarding a possible stolen
auto.  The officer found that the vehicle had not been reported stolen, but
that property within the vehicle had been reported as stolen in an auto
boost incident recently, in the same area.  The vehicle was towed to a

Officers Muro and Creed investigated a vehicle with one wheel stolen.  The
victim stated that he did not give anyone permission to take the wheel from

09:55 am          400 blk Huron                 Suspicious Act Towards
Female
A witness reported to Officers Ng and Dilag that she observed a white male
adult in a dirty Ford Spirit follow and attempt to contact a young Asian
female juvenile who was walking on the sidewalk.  The victim ran from the
suspect after he said something to her which the witness could not hear.
The area was searched for the suspect and the victim to no avail.  Report

10:00 am          Unit blk Leland               Att. Burglary of Store
Officers Larocca and Martinez responded to a business and spoke with an
employee who stated that when he arrived for work a car jack was under the
metal roll down gate.  The officers spoke with the resident who lives above
the store and was told that he heard a loud noise and looked outside.  The
resident observed a man at the gate and yelled at him.  The suspect drove
away in a white van.  Another neighbor later advised officers of the
license plate of the van and provided a suspect description.  Report number

Officers Hart and Trail were flagged down by the victim who stated that
someone stole a table saw from the sidewalk.  The victim, a roofing
contractor working on the school roof, left the tool on the sidewalk for a
few minutes unattended.  He returned to find that an unknown person stole

Officers Martinez and Larocca met with a victim who stated that he heard
his car alarm going off and saw an African American male, 20-22 years old,
twisting the windshield wipers of his vehicle causing damage.  Report

09:15 pm          Velasco/Carrizal        Robbery w/Force
Officers Castillo and Johnson responded to a robbery call and spoke with
the victim.  The victim, a Spanish speaking Hispanic male, stated that he
exited an 8XMuni coach at Geneva and Santos.  The victim noticed an African
American male, 17-20 years old, also exit the bus.  The victim saw that
subject speak with another African American, about the same age, but
larger, and then both suspects followed him down Velasco St.  The victim
was grabbed by the suspect and thrown into the side of a building.  The
suspects stole his backpack and cellular phone.  One of the suspects lost
his phone during the incident.  The victim turned over the suspects’ phone

Officer Padilla and Officer Tam responded to the report of a truck which
was on three wheels. They saw that they truck had major front end damage
and was leaking oil near the front of the car, were sparks were also being
produced. The officers cleared the area and the truck the caught completely
on fire. The operator of the truck was found and was discovered to have a
warrant for his arrest. The vehicle was damaged from a hit and run
collision which it had been involved in. Report number 081200700

Officer Plantinga assisted Lieutenant Lum with the detention of the
suspects of a reported graffiti incident. Officer Plantinga recognized one
of the suspects as a wanted suspect in a separate incident. The suspect was
issued a citation for vandalism and producing false identification to

Arrest
Officers Trail, Peregoy, Uang, and Hart were on patrol when they saw a man
who they knew to have a stay away order form the area. The man began to run
when the officers attempted to stop him. After a foot pursuit, the suspect
was taken into custody for the stay away order violation, outstanding
warrants, and resisting arrest. Report number 100382637

Officer Morgante responded to the report of a burglary. The victim said
that he returned to his shop to find that the glass door had been broken,
and the cash register was missing along with 50 packs of cigarettes. Report

Officer Morrow and Officer Naval were dispatched to the report of a broken
window. The victim said that he was sleeping when he heard a loud crashing

Officer Dominguez and Officer Carrasco responded to the report of an auto
boosting. The victim said that a window of his car had been broken, but
nothing was taken from inside the vehicle. A witness saw the suspect in the
act, and described him as a Hispanic male (5’5 135lbs) wearing a white

Officers Smith and Anderson responded to a restaurant where two women had
been involved in a physical fight and had been kicked out of the restaurant
by a security guard.  None of the parties desired any further police
