Previous coverage of news in the Ingleside

The Ingleside is often forgotten in the hustle and bustle of the cultural mecca that is San Francisco Despite The City’s apparent zeal to maintain the origin and culture of neighborhoods many are ignored. The Ingleside is generally considered a bedroom community when compared to the rest of the city and as a result doesn’t get major news coverage other than the average and mundane.

SF Streets blog covered the Ingleside with most stories involving the MUNI budget or the increase in bike safety/bike cops.

This seems to the most consistent news coverage of the area.

SFist covered the MUNI beat (It’s a San Francisco blog must), but also covered Marijuana growth (the cultivation and prosecution, though mostly in the Sunset) and other offbeat stories (mostly creepers).

From what I can gather, specific news in the Ingleside is mostly reserved to K-MUNI updates/accidents and pedophilia. The coverage is no greater than your average american suburb.

There doesn’t seem to be many blog stories about the culture or history of the Ingleside. Currently, it’s only about City College and the library.
